GM Crisis Care Pathway – Rapid Response teams provides crisis support to children and young people under 18, across all GM boroughs. If the young person is previously known to the Rapid Response Team they can re-refer themselves between 8am and 10pm: 0300 323 0911

Trafford Commissioned Services
The following services are available that can support children and young people's wellbeing and mental health during social isolation:
Trafford CAMHS: provides support for children and young people aged 0 – 18 years (including those with disabilities), where there are concerns related to their mental / emotional health / wellbeing.
All children and young people who are currently supported by CAMHS will continue to receive support. Trafford CAMHS: 0161 716 4747 (Mon–Fri 9am – 5pm)
42nd Street to provide online mental health and wellbeing support (13-25 years) Young people already receiving support have been contacted to discuss options. 42nd Street can be contacted on: 0161 228 0528
Trafford Sunrise (5-12 years): Provides support for children and families in coping with stress and promoting emotional wellbeing. Kooth provide online wellbeing and mental health support to young people aged 11-18 struggling with their mental health. Resources include a live chat with a qualified counsellor, chat forums with other young people and self-help and crisis information. Register online at: https://kooth.com/
Trafford Youth Engagement Service (YES) call back advice and support for 11-19 year olds
During the lockdown young people can still access the usual services from Trafford Council's Youth Engagement Service. We are offering a comprehensive call back advice and support service - by phone, zoom/whatsapp or email for all Trafford young people aged 11-19.

Calm Connections CIC is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring positive family relationships and good mental health. They are offering the following services accessible via online or phone:
- Parent mentors
- Online support groups via zoom and facebook

- Family workshops, mindfulness, story connections and Calm Families programme
- Finding the Balance series to support with education, working from home, technology, motivation and any other challenges

Anna Freud Centre - resources on COVID-19
BlueIce – an evidence-based app to help young people manage their emotions and reduce urges to self-harm. This is only available on ‘prescription’ from a clinician working in child and adolescent mental health services.

LGBT Foundation - Rainbow Brew Buddies
Their new telephone befriending programme Rainbow Brew Buddies aims to reduce loneliness for LGBT people across Greater Manchester who may have reduced opportunities to make social connections due to the recent coronavirus outbreak or other circumstances in their life.
Their wellbeing page contains some great tools and resources to support you in managing your mental health and wellbeing in this challenging time. They’re grouped under the 5 ways to wellbeing – Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Learn & Give. There is also an additional group for any resources which don’t neatly fit into one of the 5 ways to wellbeing.

Recovery College Online
Coping During the Pandemic. This free course has been developed for everyone in response to the recent global pandemic. There is information about how to avoid catching/spreading the virus, what immediate feelings you may have and common reactions, managing your mental health at this time, managing isolation and social distancing, self-care, supporting children and young people and some accessible information.

SHOUT – a confidential 24/7 text service for people aged 16+, operated by trained crisis volunteers who will chat using text responses. Advice is available for anyone struggling with a host of issues, including: anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, abuse or assault, self-harm, bullying or relationship issues.
The newly launched confidential SHOUT text service can be contacted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, simply by texting GMTrafford to 85258.
