Virtual Mental Wealth Hub Toolkit
The Trafford Directory is now host to the Virtual Mental Wealth Hub toolkit.
This useful and comprehensive resource is the result of combined efforts from many different professionals coming together to consider the impact of lockdown and returning to school upon children and young people’s mental health wellbeing.
It highlights what is available to support them, their families and schools. It can be used by professionals, parent carers or young people themselves.
The Virtual Mental Wealth Hub is an interactive toolkit with links to a wealth of information, as well as a series of easy to watch videos from a range of services.
The videos help explain what each service can offer, provide contact details and also have recommendations for useful resources.
Support available can be found using the Child’s Perspective, a series of potential questions that your child or young person might have upon returning to school.
It is set up in a handy way to help find the support that is most meaningful to your child or young person right now.
Additional considerations take into account that some children or young people may have become vulnerable, or more vulnerable, due to Covid-19 for a variety of reasons.
The toolkit also has a section on School staff wellbeing resources and a wellbeing toolkit for schools in Trafford.
