Local offer feedback - information available

Here you will find feedback about information that is on the local offer website. It also includes feedback about anything that has been missing from the local offer. It also includes feedback on times where people have used the search box but the keyword produced incorrect or no results.

We can keyword search terms to any listing. We will also add any service that we are missing that should be part of the local offer. If we are not currently including something that should be on the local offer, please let us know.

Feedback is organised in date order that it was received. The service directory has undergone several changes since 2013, some of which is as a direct result of the feedback we received.

It's complicated to find relevant information, especially documents which are sometimes on the Council's webpage instead

If you are finding it difficult to find something on the website, please contact the Family Information Service who provide a helpline and outreach team who go out to groups. It is important to have feedback like this, so we can change the website to include the information required.

E-forms (where they are completed and submitted online) are not part of the functionality of the Trafford Directory website, but there should be links to information where the e-form is included on main Council website.

Where an activity requires a referral should the site have further info on how to get that referral and who from? If not, needs a clear signpost as to where that info can be found.

Referral information added as a field in 2014 and update forms for all registered users now require referral information completing if they click 'Yes' for Referral Required.

We are aware that not all listings have detailed information where it is needed and work will continue to get this completed more fully.

  • For children and young people- a click through guide to quickly find what they are looking for. Make it easy to use - I'm imagining buttons! Have an option on front to 'Get someone to call you back'
  • Simplified version for young people, or session for them at school to be able to search for something themselves

The section for young people is now live.

Several young people, including those who have SEN or are disabled, have given their views and two volunteers will work with us in the future to help develop their site.
