New Autism Specific Commissioned Short Break
A new Autism specific short break service has been commissioned and will be delivered by SENSE, a national disability charity.
Get Out There (GOT) Trafford Holiday Club
This activity will run during school holidays only. It will take place over three days (Tuesday to Thursday) for four hours per day.
The activity is open to any child or young person with a diagnosis of ASD and will offer 2:1 support for the children and young people who attend.
Sessions will involve a mix of activities including messy play, crafts, sensory play, cooking and sports.
They will also include visits out in the community and from people such as the music man and the animal lady, depending on current Covid-19 government guidance.
How to apply?
If you want to access the Get Out There Holiday club you do not need to contact the Short Breaks team. Instead register your interest here.
