Trafford School Sports Partnership and Flixton Girls School are running a free 6 week series of activities for disadvantaged children with a sandwich provided. Enrolment is via the child's primary school.

Holiday Hunger Project Old Trafford are running a holiday club for 11-18 year olds at Sharon Youth Centre, Old Trafford with lunch provided, running throughout August.  Tel: 0161 220 1000. Email:

Summer of Sport - free four week programme of activities across Old Trafford, Sale West, Partington Broomwood. To be updated

Timperley Amateur Boxing Club are offering fully funded sessions 4 days per week for July and much of August that comes with a free lunch. Maximum 11 children per session. Contact Mark Davidson. Email: Tel: 07790352521

Altrincham FC Community Sports and Broomwood Youth Engagement - Free football sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays in August for children and young people in Broomwood aged 8-14 years old. 

Sale Communities Junior Football Club (JFC) Skills Development Project - Football club focussing on life skills and educational development of children. Facebook: salecommunitiesjfc.  Email 

The Urban Fitness Collective at Stretford Sports Village are running sports activity clubs with lunch for age 6 to 11 year olds every weekday in August, 11am to 3pm. Email:  Tel: 07528 130 349

Shooting Stars - sports courses for children aged 4-11, based at the Bowdon Club. Sports include football, cricket, tennis, tag rugby, netball, basketball, hockey and more. Sessions runs daily, early drop off can also be arranged. Find out more via their Facebook page

Gymfinity Gymnastics - full day camps run throughout the school holidays whee children get the opportunity to take part in a wide range of gymnastics related activities, games and fun. Visit their website for more information.

Young Identity (Wordsmith Awards) - Creative Writing and Performance workshops for disadvantaged young people from Old Trafford

Gorse Hill Studios Alternative Creative Education (ACE) Programme - covering the core subjects, Maths, English and Science and a variety of Unit Awards in the Arts, Music and Independent Living Skills. Hideaway Summer Support - offering food and packed lunch support for children living in Partington. Just register your request at their website.

Trafford Assist and CAB - Community Hubs.  Provision of crisis support for people who have no funds to pay for food/fuel or who are isolated and need wellbeing support, or shopping if unable to obtain food. Also CAB provides benefits and employment advice.  Tel: 0300 330 9073 to access these services and the local community hubs. 

Rapid Relief UK will home deliver a one off food box for a family in crisis (where available).   Funded by UK government as a localised branch of a national charity.

Engage Mentoring - intensive mentoring for young people aged 8-18 (up to 25 with SEND). Free for Trafford young people who meet criteria.

Coaching Inside and Out - Free Life Coaching for young people in Trafford aged 13+ and their parent/carers

Rainbow Reflections LGBTQ+ Youth Group with The Proud Trust - Trafford youth group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans people or those questioning their gender or sexuality who are under 25 years old

Pure Insight - Insightful Mentoring and 1-to-1 support for Care Leavers in Trafford 

42nd Street offers online wellbeing support for 13 to 25 year olds.  They are working with TDAS (Trafford Domestic Abuse Services) on Speak Out Speak Now - a series of mental health and wellbeing workshops across Trafford with young people aged 16 - 25 to create a Trafford gift shop pop up stall.

Trafford Sunrise – therapeutic support for children 5-12 year olds

Early Break – substance use support for young people

The Northern – Contraception, sexual health and HIV service

Home-Start Family Support  offers a home visiting volunteer support service for families going through difficult times- at the moment the service is offering predominantly digital support via phone and video calls. Email:

Parent Workshops with Just Psychology   Parent Workshops for parent carers of 5-12 year olds and 10-16 year olds are accessible digitally.  Find out more about dates and joining details

TDAS- Domestic Abuse Support Trafford Domestic Abuse Service are still operating, with some interventions offered via online/phone/text/messenger-  anyone concerned about a young person and/or family can refer as normal and pass on details via 07534 066 029

Together Trust- Sleep Tight Trafford offer one-to-one sleep clinics for local parents and carers. Their sleep practitioners work with parent/carers to create personalised sleep plans for children.  During COVID-19 all clinics are still running and appointments are being offered by telephone or video consultation.
