How to report concerns about an adult

Concerns about an adult

If you have concerns about an adult in Trafford, aged 18 or over, and you are worried that they are being harmed or are at risk of harm, please visit Trafford Strategic Safeguarding Partnership for advice for members of the public and professionals.

Mental Capacity Assessment

Trafford Council has a Capacity Assessment form for professionals relating to the Mental Capacity Act. This form is to be completed when key decisions and actions are taken by a professional on a person's behalf when they do not have the capacity to decide for themselves. The Capacity Assessment form forms part of Trafford's wider Mental Capacity Act policy and procedures, including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding.
