APPLICATION PROCESS:

  1. You cannot apply directly to the fund, you need to be referred by an organisation - you can find our referring partners on our website at https://www.migrantdestitution.co.uk/apply-to-the-fund. If you're not already receiving support from one of them then we would strongly encourage you to contact a local organisation who can help with all your needs. If you aren't near to any of these organisations we recommend contacting Mustard Tree or Rainbow Haven who work with people right across Greater Manchester).

  2. If you need to access the Fund then discuss it with the organisation you receive support from, they can then make an application to the fund for you.

  3. The application will be checked for eligibility and then reviewed by a panel. The Panel is made up of two people with lived experience of destitution, and two people who work with groups supporting destitute migrants.

  4. The panel meets twice a week so you should get a response within 4 working days.

  5. The funds will be paid to you directly by the referring agency.
