Our Always Heard Advocates are here to help. If you want an Advocate phone the Advocacy Helpline.

  • Our main helpline number is free to phone and does not show up on telephone bills. 
  • WhatsApp - add us to your contacts and send us a message free with WiFi
  • Text - just send us a text and ask for someone to call you back. Texts to this number are at your standard rate for sending texts. Calls to this number cannot be answered.

Funded by the Department for Education, our Always Heard service means that, for the first time, there is a single national advocacy advice service and gateway that young people can use to access the vital advocacy services across the country, and an advocacy ‘safety net’ for when things go wrong and they cannot get advocacy from their local service. Always Heard is the only national service in England that can provide an advocate to children and young people who cannot access the local advocacy support they are entitled to.

Our Advocates are there to answer your call from Monday to Friday 9.30am–6pm and Saturday 10am–4pm. 

If you want to speak to someone outside these times and your call is urgent just phone and leave a message and someone will phone you back.        

If English is not your first language, the Advocate will get an interpreter to join your call.

We’ll always try to help you straight away and always get back to you within 24 hours.
