About our Service

Our service comprises of qualified physiotherapists, occupational therapists, a technical instructor, and a therapy assistant.

We support children and young people within the community setting from 0-18years (19 if in a special school) with; musculoskeletal, neurological, and genetic conditions, developmental delay, complex and additional needs, and sensory needs. We also see patients pre/post orthopaedic surgery and on behalf of social services provide assessment for those requiring home adaptations/equipment.

We provide holistic therapy assessments, treatments, advice, and care with the aim to improve the child’s function in daily activities so they can achieve their full potential, improve health, well-being and prepare for adulthood.

We work closely with partner agencies to provide safe, coordinated interventions, which focus on the needs of the child and their family.

We’re based at Sale Waterside but also work in a variety of settings including schools, nurseries, clinics, and the child’s home.

We have further information regarding our services including referral processes, pre-referral advice, useful links and leaflets/strategies which can all be found on our webpages.
