Welcome to the Seed Studios

Seed Studios is a fully equipped music & multimedia studio based in Old Trafford at the blueSCI Arts and Cultural Wellbeing Centre.

There are lots of volunteers and musicians at Seed Studios who are eager and committed to supporting people like you enjoy a wide range of musical activities.

You can have fun or work hard at Seed Studios and do it all with your own personal mentor or as part of a group.

Here at Seed studios we are ready to support you in developing your creative aims. It doesn’t matter how much previous experience you have – we want to help you be the best you can be. No matter what your goal we will happily discuss how this can be achieved.

Seed Studios wants to be recognised for making music accessible to all. So if you believe there may be challenges to you enjoying a fulfilling time with us then we are here to talk with about this in a confidential manner and see what we can do to overcome those challenges together.

Finally, we are committed to supporting and encouraging original, innovative music from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. We want to embrace and champion the value that culture and creativity bring towards improving individual and community well-being. So be assured that no matter where you’ve been in life, or what background you come from; whatever your musical preferences, we will support you to bring out your best and hopefully even learn something from you.

Here with us you can do any or all of the following:

* Experiment with, and learn to play an instrument

* Record your music (to a professional standard)

* Play at concerts

* Play along and learn songs with other musicians

* Learn how to use recording equipment and software

* Learn how to record with other musicians

* Learn to use video filming and editing equipment

* Make your own films and DVDs

* Practice DJ techniques

* Help with the running of the studio

* Meet with new people and have fun!

Daytime Service We offer a free day service for adults in Trafford or with a Trafford GP. For information on this daytime service please contact blueSCI Reception on Phone: 0161 912 4828 or email Out of Hours Service There is also an opportunity to use the service in the evenings and at weekends for a charge of £15.00 an hour.
