Trafford Music Service

In addition there are around 30 non-contracted session staff teaching in schools; Group Teaching Coordinators for both KS1/KS2 and KS3; Orchestra Conductors and our Head of Service. The Head of Service carries responsibility for the leadership and management of the Music Service. The Business Support Team structure consists of 4 full-time Business Support posts and 3 part-time Business Support posts.
The Music Service provides instrumental tuition for children from Reception through to Year 14 at competitive rates with experienced instrumental tutors both in school and out of school hours at our home, the Claremont Centre, in Sale. We also offer an instrumental hire scheme enabling all Trafford children to access music and an Assisted Purchase Scheme allowing Trafford residents to purchase musical instruments at discounted prices (terms and conditions apply, please contact us for further information). In addition we offer membership to ensembles and orchestras with the opportunity to play at prestigious venues such as the Royal Northern College of Music, the Robert Bolt Theatre, The Stoller Concert Hall and even the Lowry Theatre!
We are delighted to be running our Rock Academy in our state of the art electronic rock pods and have increased the number of sessions due to high demand. We also be host Trafford's annual Battle of the Bands to select finalists to perform at a venue in Manchester such as Band on the Wall or The Academy.
In addition we offer room hire at very competitive rates. For more information on any of the above and much more, please visit our website at www.traffordmusicservice.co.uk or contact us on 0161 911 8659/8663 where a member of staff will be happy to answer any questions.
