St Mary's Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC)
St Mary's Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) provides a comprehensive and co-ordinated forensic, counselling and aftercare service to men, women and children living in the Greater Manchester and Cheshire area who have experienced rape or sexual assault, whether this has happened recently or in the past.
Our Centre comprises a team of experts with a wealth of knowledge and experience in advising, supporting and treating anyone who has been raped or sexually assaulted.
We also have a specialist children's service.

You can access our services either via Police or you can contact us directly. You can also be referred to our services through another agency as long they have your consent.
If you report your assault to the Police, you should automatically be offered the Centre’s services as part of their response to sexual violence.
You can use our services without making a report to the Police or we can support you if and when you do want to speak to the Police.
