***Coronavirus update***

During the lockdown young people can still access the usual services from Trafford Council's Youth Engagement Service We are offereing a comprehensive call back advice and support service - by phone, zoom/whatsapp or email - for all Trafford Youth People aged 11-19.

We are doing virtual activities weekly, from DJ Beat Box sessions to learn how to juggle! Follow Talkshop, Streettalk and Connexions teams on Facebook and Instagram

Trafford Youth Engagement Service provides a wide range of opportunities for young people to access support and information in a safe, non-judgmental and confidential manner. This includes:

 

Trafford Talkshop

Talkshop is an advice, support and information centre for young people aged 11 to 19 (up to 25 with additional needs or care leavers). Many services and groups run from Trafford Talkshop.  

 

Street Talk - young people led projects in their local communities

Trafford's locality youth work team work out and about in communities three evenings per week.  

 

Connexions Careers Guidance Service

Connexions provide one to one support from a professionally qualified Careers Advisor.

 

Trafford Youth Justice

Work with young people to stop offending or prevent further re-offending.

Services can be accessed directly by young people dropping in, or via a Single Agency Referral Form or Early Help Assessment completed by schools, medical professionals, the police, social care workers and voluntary sector partners.
