We provide an outstanding curriculum which is carefully planned and consistently reviewed to meet the needs of the girls at every Key Stage. Our 14 – 19 curriculum includes an innovative programme called Life Skills which takes the girls beyond the normal confines of the National Curriculum, giving them opportunities to apply their skills and gifts in the real world. Post 16 we offer a choice of thirty A levels. Year on year our academic achievements rank very highly at national levels. We are proud of the fact that we have been judged “Outstanding” in all categories by Ofsted and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury (Section 48 Inspection).

The Sixth Form at Loreto has a strong tradition of excellent results earned by hard work on the part of teachers and students. We encourage a greater degree of maturity and independence from our students and expect to be able to treat them as young adults. Equally, as you work in smaller groups and spend more time in your A Level departments, you can build solid relationships with their teachers and receive more individual attention.
