Contact (formerly Contact a Family) provides support, advice and information for families with disabled children, no matter what their condition or disability.
Does your child have special educational needs or a disability? Are you having difficulties with your child's education?
If you would like to talk to someone, our Special Education Neeeds (SEN) advice team is here to help. We offer advice and information on a wide range of education issues including:
- early years/preschool
- getting help in school
- statements
- exclusion
- bullying
- transport
- education after 16
- up to date medical information on over 400 health conditions and diabilities
Contact is part of the SEND Information Organisations Group (SENDIOG) - a network of like minded organisations that provide free and impartial advice to children, young people and their families
