Wellbeing Walks - Walton Park, Sale
We are part of England’s largest network of health walk schemes, helping thousands of people across the country lead a more active lifestyle. Our group walks are led by friendly, specially trained volunteers who are on hand to provide encouragement and support, and make sure no one gets left behind.
The distance of the walks will vary between 1.5 – 3.75 miles (2.4 - 6.0 Kms), over easy terrain, and are suitable for people of varying ages and ability. On the longer walks, walkers will be given the option of a shorter alternative, only completing part of the route, accompanied by a walk leader. They are open to everyone, but are especially aimed at those who are looking to be more active.
The walks are on surfaced paths in the main and suitable for good walking shoes/trainers. Some puddles may be encountered on the walk.
Refreshments and a chance to relax are offered at the end of the walk.
