Child Protection Advocacy

Who we help

If you are a young person over 12 years old on a child protection plan or if there is a child protection conference due to go ahead for you and your family then there is a legal requirement that you have your wishes and feelings heard and be taken into account when decisions are being made.

What we do

A child protection advocate can support you by attending meetings with you, helping you understand processes and procedures and most importantly, helping you communicate your thoughts and wishes no matter what these may be.

We will always listen carefully to your views and feelings because we are passionate about giving young people a voice and making sure that they are treated fairly and with respect.
