Walking football
Trafford Leisure will be running indoor walking football sessions at Partington Leisure centre.
Walking Football is a slow-paced version of the beautiful game. The rules are adapted so there is no running, very little contact and kick ins instead of throw ins. With less stress on the body and no real sudden change of direction or cutting movements the game allows participants to play without apprehension and at their own pace.
Playing the game at walking pace is a fantastic way to keep fit, reduce chances of injury and falls and also is a great way to meet new people.
Anyone is welcome to attend so dust off your football kit and give it a go!
Sessions are free for physical activity referrals and Zest members.
