Get Started with Apps

 

In partnership with Made by MILK
Taster day on: Thursday 21st February in Central Manchester
Course dates: Monday 25th February to Friday 1st March 2019

This programme is NOW FOR 16-30 year olds who need to increase their confidence to get started in employment or education. It doesn’t matter whether you know nothing about tech or have a software degree; all abilities are catered for and there’s always something to learn.

Get started with Football

 

In partnership with City in the Community

Taster day on: Thursday 28th February in Manchester
Course dates: Monday 4th March to Friday 8th March 2019

Meet new people and improve your skills by working on a group challenge like learning how to deliver a coaching session.  Not only will it help you discover new talents, but you could also secure a qualification and benefit from support from our staff or one of our mentors to help you uncover your next steps.

Fairbridge in Bury

 

This Free course is for any young person 16-25 year olds who have struggled to engage in previous courses, not currently in education or employment or training and are not sure what is next for them. Gain qualification in personal development & employability, certificates in first aid, food hygiene and more.

20th February: Induction

Consists of a 3 hour session to familiarise with the group, environment and course content with ice breakers and team challenges.

Monday 25th February Week 1

3 day Access course using adventurous activities to build on confidence, communication skills, self-esteem team working


Monday 4th March Week 2

3 day Access building on skills developed during the previous weeks and pushing comfort zones further to assist in meeting goals.


Follow-on

Sessions continue to run on a twice weekly basis working on employability, independent living a skills in a fun and interactive way.

 

 

Admin & Hospital Services

 

in partnership with NHS Oldham. If you are  16-30 years old, unemployed or out of education, and want to get into Admin & Hospital services Industry then this could be just what you need?

We are excited to confirm the 6 week full-time on the job placement with Oldham Royal is recruiting now!!

Taster day on: Tuesday 19th February 2019
Keep Warm Days:  Tuesday 26th February & Monday 11th March
The full time Course runs from: Monday 25th March - Friday 26th April

*** All young people will be required to provide ID to complete a DBS check if successful in getting a place on the taster ***

‘Ready for work’ in Hospitality

 

in partnership with Greene King

We are running a NEW ‘Ready for Work’ Hospitality programme for 18 to 30 year olds that are ready for work and don’t need the standard 4 weeks work placement experience. We’re excited to confirm this ‘Ready to Work’ programme is now recruiting!!

Taster day on: Wednesday 6th March 2019
2 day course runs from: Thursday 7th March to Friday 8th March 2019
