Firefly - Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS)
Firefly is a five day programme aimed at young people aged 13 to 16-years-old who are in danger of becoming anti-social or have found mainstream education a challenge.
Delivered by firefighters, the aim is to and change behaviour and educate about the dangers of fire.
The programme offers young people an opportunity to learn firefighting skills, home safety awareness and first aid.
Young people will also be able to improve their communication, team working as well as learn about the consequences of anti-social behaviour.
We welcome any young person who may be experiencing difficulties in engaging with school or their peers through low self-esteem or a lack of confidence.
