Stockdales Domiciliary Support Services (Children and Adult Short Breaks)

Stockdales is a registered charity providing care & support for people with learning disabilities. We work with people who have a wide spectrum of needs, ranging from those who require straightforward, low level support to gain and improve their independence to people with complex health needs with profound and multiple learning disabilities requiring specialised support to enjoy a fine and meaningful quality of life.

Our Home Care Support service is for people with learning disabilities who live locally. Stockdales takes its special type of care to people who might live with their parents or carers, with housemates or on their own.

We help a wide range of people including people who may have:

  • Learning and /or physical disabilities
  • Communication and/or sensory impairments
  • Behavioural, emotional and social difficulties
  • Complex health needs.

Help is given with the daily essentials of life like getting up and ready for the day, with hobbies and interests, getting out and about on days away, holidays and socialising with friends and family. We have supported people to experience the thrills of a football match, to get fit at swimming, to have the adrenalin rush of the theme park and to be independent on overnight stays.

Flexibility is at the key and we offer support from 2 hours, half days, full days and overnight if required. Living happy, healthy and fulfilled lives is what it’s all about - just call to discuss your requirements.
