Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS), community services for children and young people (CYP)

About our service

TDAS also offer support to children and young people in the community through our Children, Young People and Families Team.

Children and young people aged 5-16 years triaged at standard risk, will be offered our 6 week R’Space group for their relevant age. From these groups, the children will be assessed if further support is required and offered either 121 community support or family support.

Young people aged 12-18 that are triaged at medium risk, will be given a YPDAA (Young People’s Domestic Abuse Advisor) to complete 121 community support sessions.

We also offer educational support for teachers, pupils and youth groups in Trafford.

• Healthy Relationships Workshops - 1hr educational and interactive session
• Supporting Young People Project - 1hr healthy relationships workshop, training for professionals, and an interactive performance
• Speak Out Speak Now - 6 week healthy relationship course for young adults 13-18
