Emergency First Aid at Work Course
The course is designed for local residents / businesses who want to learn basic lifesaving skills or refresh current knowledge. Any member of the community can come along and benefit from the easy to follow skills in a relaxed and personable environment.
The aim of the training course is to prepare for a sudden accident or illness prior to the arrival of the emergency services. Candidates are shown how to check for signs of breathing, Use of the recovery position, CPR, Choking, major bleeding and much more.
Course content also includes paediatric elements that can help save the life of an infant or child if an emergency strikes within the home.
The Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification is nationally recongised and valid for three years. Candidates also receive a handy A5 textbook and expert tuition on the course.
Monthly courses are held in Manchester on both a Saturday and a weekday. Subsidised training is available for individuals living within Trafford Council.
