Video, telephone and face-to-face counselling.

Our counsellors can help you if you are between 5 and 17 years old.

We know you face lots of challenges. It may be massive changes in your home life, problems at school, problems with friends, bullying, lack of confidence, low self-esteem.

When it's difficult to cope everything can feel as if it's going wrong. You might find yourself feeling angry all the time, or tearful and upset at the slightest thing, or you pull away from everyone and feel very alone and isolated, as if everything is hopeless. You might not feel like eating, or find yourself eating all the time. Your sleep could be broken by nightmares and you feel bad about yourself and maybe even want to hurt yourself.

These are strong feelings. We can help.

We offer a safe place to talk and help you to understand what is happening to you and get you back on track. You can tell your story in a variety of ways - you may wish to talk or, for example, you may prefer to draw or paint. It's ok to be quiet too if sometimes you don't feel like talking.

It's ok to talk about your feelings, whatever they are. Your counsellor will not be shocked, angry or upset. Anything you tell us is kept in confidence (except when we are really concerned about your safety) unless you tell us it is ok to pass something on.

You can contact us yourself or your parent or carer can do it for you. If you are under 14 an adult must come to the centre with you, though they don't have to come in with you to see the counsellor.

We cannot offer this at all locations but are hoping to secure funding soon that will mean we can.
