Altrincham Anxiety Group

Are you living with Anxiety?

The Altrincham Anxiety self-help group offers a safe and calm space to talk freely about any difficulties you are experiencing; providing support and guidance to help you manage your anxiety.

No appointment necessary - just drop-in (and leave) at any time.

The group is run by Lauren and Jessica who both have their own personal experiences of anxiety. They are both extremely passionate about the group and can often be found promoting the group around Altrincham.

What can I expect?

The Altrincham Anxiety Group is a safe environment to share personal experiences and coping techniques for the day-to-day struggle that anxiety sufferers face. The main aim of our group is for members to feel comfortable as we understand how nerve racking your initial visit to a new group can be...

This is a `drop-in group` and we encourage people to stay for the length of time that they feel at ease, we never want members to feel obliged to stay for the full duration.

As group facilitators, we are able to draw upon theoretical knowledge teamed with our own personal experience of anxiety to offer an empathetic and relaxed environment.

Men and women of all ages attend the group and we emphasise that every member is unique, some like to talk and share a lot, whilst others find it extremely beneficial to come along and simply listen - how much you contribute is entirely up to you.
