'Step Up' Traineeship Programme

This is a traineeship programme Knowledgepool are running alongside Aon in Manchester starting this February.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a young person to start a rewarding career with Aon -  gaining skills and experience along the way.

We are now accepting referrals to the ‘Meet and Greet’ sessions that will take place on Tuesday 5th February 2019 @ Aon Manchester (40 Spring Gardens, M2 1EN) @ 10am.

Those who are selected will then start programme on Monday 11th February 2019 @ Aon Manchester for 4 weeks gaining Customer Service Qualifications, building confidence, role play, interview techniques and learning about the Aon brand and what they do.

Programme times are 9:30am-4:30pm – Monday-Friday.

Candidates will then enter onto a Work Placement for 4 weeks (and 2 days) with Aon at Manchester site within a trainee Customer Service Advisor role – interviews will take place in the final week of placements for permanent positions with Aon.

Key Information

  • Knowledgepool will pay travel expenses for candidates during training and work placement.
  • Suited and Booted Organisation will provide support with candidates clothing to ensure they are able to adhere to smart dress code.
  • Potential visit to Manchester United training ground (Carrington) for lunch and interaction with players/staff.
  • All candidates will be supported for 6 months post programmes.
  • Aged between 18 – 24 years old
  • Unemployed with Qualifications below the equivalent of 2 A levels.

When is it on
Drop-in services are at Stretford Library on Mondays and Thursdays between 1:30pm-4:30pm and at Sale Talkshop on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1pm-5pm. We would recommend that you telephone our office in the morning before attending to confirm the service is running that day.
