Altrincham Grammar School and Sixth Form for Girls

Secondary Academy     1190 capacity

AGGS is proud to be part of the Bright Futures Educational Trust. Being part of the Trust provides a wide range of opportunities for staff and students to work with schools across the Bright Futures network. In return, Bright Futures provides us with outstanding support which helps staff and students alike to achieve at the highest level. We were one of the first schools in the country to be designated a National Teaching School and are a lead school in a number of subjects, including mathematics, science and modern foreign languages.

Here at AGGS we are very proud of our traditions of academic success, sporting and cultural achievements and service to our community. We foster independent learning, confidence and leadership in our students, through stimulating and challenging lessons and a huge range of extra-curricular opportunities. Here the girls develop high aspirations, achieve the highest standards, as our examination results testify, and are well prepared for future study and employment.
