Therapy and Specialist Support (Together Trust)

We work collaboratively across a range of settings including special educational needs (SEN) and mainstream schools, social and residential services, to provide wrap around and coordinated support directly to children and young people and to those who support them (parents, carers, teachers, service staff). 

 

This could include: specialist and diagnostic assessments, consultative and MDT input and bespoke care planning strategies, 1:1 and group therapy, integrated whole school/ organisational approaches and upskilling, alongside a fully integrated clinical offering.

  • Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners and Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA)

We collaborate with schools to support pupils with autism, social communication needs, SEMH needs and behaviours of concern.

 

For Schools:

We offer bespoke support for pupils during transition, exam preparation and understanding diagnosis.

 

Our experienced team offer a wide range of therapy and training programmes, available to professionals.

 

We offer bespoke input for children and young people in a variety of settings; and universal advice for the wider community in which they live and learn. We can provide assessments, 1:1 and group therapy, programmes of support and written reports.

Our therapy packages are individualised to meet the needs and interests of the child or young person. We aim to work collaboratively with families and professionals across health, education and social care sectors to provide the best possible service for our young people.

 

For Families:

We host monthly coffee mornings for parents/carers of young people with autism/social-communication needs – an opportunity to liaise with professionals and to meet and share information with other parents/carers

We hold virtual webinars covering a range of topics

Our sleep team provide group workshops and bespoke intervention for families.

 

For Businesses and Private Organisations:

With expertise in supporting individuals with Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders, we also work with private sector organisations to develop training and strategies for professionals to ensure they are able to operate and deliver services in an Autism aware and friendly way.

Together Trust’s central office is based in Cheadle, Stockport however individual appointments and location can be arranged to suit a family’s needs. We work in a variety of settings including the child’s home, nursery, school, college and social care service.

Together Trust’s Therapy and Specialist Services team provide a range of therapy, advice and consultancy services directly to mainstream, special and independent schools, nurseries and FE colleges, as well as to families, local authorities and social care services. 

The Together Trust also provides a wide range of care, special education and community services for children and adults with behavioural challenges, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, complex health needs and autism.

Details

The Together Trust’s main campus is based at Schools Hill, Cheadle, Stockport SK8 1JE. Situated on the south side of Manchester, we are ideally placed next to the A34 bypass with a number of parking bays which includes designated disabled parking. 

We are able to make use of a range of translation services and seek advice from Stockport’s Ethnic Diversity Service for families for whom English is an additional language. 

We make every effort to make reasonable adjustments to meet child, young person and adult’s needs.

Costs

Details
In addition to local authority funded services, our services can be purchased by families, carers, and service users over the age of 18 or their brokers via a direct payment, individual budget, individual service fund or personal/private funds. We are also able work with brokerage services to deliver tailored packages of support to meet your budget and goals.  We provide competitive rates to schools and other settings for regular therapy input and for ad-hoc pieces of work.
