Simply Cycling: Wythenshawe Wheelers
We have a "can-do" approach and aim to provide a bike for everyone, whatever their ability!!
People can just turn up and join in some fun - cycling, meeting friends, exercising and just have fun!!
We offer support to those that require it; we can provide transport to and from home, and support whilst cycling.
We also have off-road guided rides.
We also offer short breaks on cycling holidays several times a year!!
We are a not-for-profit Charitable organisation, incorporating Wythenshawe Wheelers all-ability cycling club and Trafford Wheelers in Stretford.
The main focus of our two clubs is to offer cycling to disabled people. We have over 180 adapted bikes and we are confident that anyone can ride a bike regardless of their ability. We offer sessions throughout the week that are open to the public, catering for cyclists of all abilities.
Our sessions are about recreational cycling where people can focus on fun and the health benefits of riding bikes. We have as many as 400 riders with a disability regularly attending Wythenshawe Wheelers and Trafford Wheelers out of a 600 person membership.
