The Proud Trust (LGBT young people)
The Proud Trust supports lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people in Manchester, Greater Manchester and the North West. We do this in three main ways:
Services for Young People – we run a variety of weekly youth work sessions for young people in Manchester. Our LGBT youth offer includes groups for lesbian and bisexual young women, trans groups, a BAME group which run alongside our LGBT youth groups. We also run a 121 and Mentoring Service for young people to access support remotely. Our groups are open to young people ages between 13 and 19 (up to 25 with an additional need)
The Proud Trust has recently launched a new digital help service for LGBT+ young people and trusted adults called ‘Proud Connections’, made up of an information hub and an instant messaging service. To explore the site visit: https://www.theproudtrust.org/proud-connections
Training and Consultancy – we offer a wide range of LGBT+ Awareness training opportunities from workshops for young people through to bespoke training for professionals working in the youth sector.

We accept referrals from professionals and young people. After filling in the form someone will contact you to find out more information and arrange for you to meet with a youth worker before the next session
