Sharks Community Trust HITZ Programme
The Sharks Community Trust HITZ Programme is a Premiership Rugby backed course that is provided by 13 professional rugby clubs across the country. The course combines guided learning with various sporting activities, work experience and enrichment sessions.
HITZ is aimed at getting NEET (not in education, employment or training) 16-19 year olds. The main components of the course are; Functional Skill (maths and English), L1 BTEC in Sports and Active Leisure, work experience and post course progression. Also included in the course are enrichment sessions based on employability, sporting activity and life skills.
The programme is based in Our Sale West community centre.
