Based within Partington Early Help Hub and established in 2004, Partington Day Nursery is a purpose built, child centred, Trafford Council Local Authority Day Nursery providing Ofsted registered childcare for pre-school children between birth and five years old.  Your child is at the heart of all we do and we have been consistently rated ‘Outstanding in all areas’ by Ofsted in our past two inspections.

Partington Day Nursery is a fully inclusive setting to ensure we meet the needs of all children and families.  Our location makes us easily accessible from the local motorway networks and surrounding areas.  We are in prime location to local amenities including the shops, parks and the library as well as being within walking distance to the local primary schools which enables us to build up good links with these. The building is on ground level throughout and has a large parking area to the rear of the building.

We strive to ensure that all children feel happy, relaxed and safe. We believe in the importance of parent partnership and actively promote this by newsletters, parent/carer evenings and sharing child development records. Our highly qualified staff team provide an enjoyable, stimulating and safe, secure environment for children to learn and develop their potential whilst having fun. All planning of activities is in line with the government Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and information regarding children’s learning is shared so that it can continue within their home life.

The nursery rooms all have access to our large garden and all weather outdoor area and both indoors and outdoors are equipped to provide top quality childcare and learning experiences for children aged 0 – 5 years.

The key person system means we tailor activities to suit the development of each child as an individual. We also benefit from the fantastic facilities the children's centre offers, such as the soft play area which we access during the week and the sensory room which is a safe place for younger children to explore their senses and play in a calm and relaxing environment.

The welfare of the child is paramount and safeguarding procedures are a priority of the Partington Day Nursery team. All staff are chosen through a rigorous interview process with up to date DBS checks being carried out.  Staff have attended up to date safeguarding and first aid training.

We offer free places for 3 and 4 year old children and funded places for 2 year old children who meet the eligibility criteria. We are members of the National Day Nursery Association and are currently working towards I CAN accreditation.  We accept childcare vouchers and payment through the Tax Free Childcare scheme.

Our kitchen staff are fully trained in producing healthy and nutritious meals using fresh ingredients. Our menus are devised by a qualified dietician and the kitchen has received level 5 in food hygiene. We will adapt our menus to suit any dietary or allergy needs and requirements.

Partington Day Nursery is open Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm.This is being revised in December 2023. We are open all year round with the exception of bank holidays, one week at Christmas and 2 training days.
