Breastfeeding Support Group

Breastfeeding groups aim to support mothers in breastfeeding their babies for as long as they want to and to make choices that are best for them both. There is up to date information and advice on expressing breast milk, storage, going back to work, weaning, finishing feeding etc.

Most groups meet weekly in a comfortable relaxed environment. They provide opportunity to meet new people whilst getting support and encouragement from breast feeding peer counsellors. Most centres also have a midwife or health visitor available to talk to.

Please contact centre for session details.

Excellent advice support service for breastfeeding
This drop in is particularly helpful for babies that are mobile or older children as there is a wide range of toys and space for them to play.  Excellent advice always available from the amazing breastfeeding team of Jackie and Nicola Advice available from pre birth right through to weaning from breastfeeding/managing toddler feeds and to tandem feeding.  5 stars all round. Can't recommend them highly enough
