Link Therapies is a company enriching peoples’ lives by connecting hard to reach groups with a range of stress management therapies and techniques. Our goal is to reach people to access complementary therapies due to immobility, carer responsibilities, lack of transport or time, age, illness or even work commitments.

In cooperation with other health care outlets such as GP surgeries and hospitals Link Therapies organise and deliver holistic therapy sessions designed to complement traditional medical practices. We feel that education is a key element in the management of stress. In addition to our therapies, we also offer tailored in-house tutorials, thus providing a truly holistic approach to stress management.

Descriptions of Treatments:

Reflexology
Is a non invasive drug free treatment which involves stimulating, massaging and applying pressure to points on the feet and hands that correspond to various parts of
the body. It is used to aid health and encourage relaxation, prevent disease, reduce pain and improve quality of life. Following illness, stress or injury the body may be in a state of imbalance preventing it from functioning effectively. Reflexology can be used to restore and maintain the body’s natural equilibrium and encourage healing. Equally, Reflexology is an important therapy for when we are feeling well. We all need moments of reflection and serenity to enable us to get in touch with our inner selves and experience the peace and wellbeing that lies within.

Reflexology has been shown to be effective for:

Promoting relaxation, Weight problems
Restoring energy, Hormonal imbalances
Improving concentration, Menstrual problems
Stress and tension, Fertility problems
Sleep disorders, Reduction of toxins
Headache and migraine, Improving circulation
Back pain, High blood pressure
Arthritis, Digestive disorders
Asthmatic symptoms, Boosting immune system

Children’s Reflexology
will help you discover the value of using touch to communicate and connect with your child. We will teach youtop-up techniques so that your child and you gain maximum benefit from this treatment. We recommend that children are encouraged to observe reflexology treatments on a parent, relative or close friend. This helps them to learn about reflexology and to develop a trust in the work that Reflexologists do. They can then become more involved in deciding for themselves whether or not they would like a treatment. We would also encourage a parent, relative or close friend to be present during the treatment for which parental consent will be required for children under sixteen. Parents will also be required to confirm that they will continue any regularly prescribed medication for the child.

Conditions in children that can benefit from reflexology treatments include:

Trauma, General health
