Rossendale Specialist Residential School

Rossendale School Picture

Rossendale School is a specialist residential school for boys and girls aged 8 to 16 with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. The school provides a setting in which pupils can understand their problems and come to terms with them. We work together to develop behavioural strategies to minimise difficulties and help overcome problems.

The school offers a warm and welcoming environment where a positive education allows all pupils to experience success. Our ethos was created in the belief that a positive, supportive and achieving culture is essential in creating a good school. Pupils who come from a negative, destructive and anti-achievement background need a completely different environment in which to rediscover success and self-belief.
