AK Payroll has been working with recipients of Direct Payments and PHB’s since 2011 and prides itself on delivering cost-effective services that meet the particular needs of individuals who are receiving care, or who are responsible for the care of another, sometimes in quite challenging circumstances. Recognising that care needs are always changing, and that you can't work to rigid deadlines, we offer flexible support that is built around the individual.
Our Managed Direct Payment service will receive the funds from the local authority or NHS Trust into the bank account that we will have opened in your name. We will also receive any contributions that it may have been determined that you need to pay towards your care.
We will use the account to pay for any costs and payments arising from either our payroll service or from any 3rd party services, such as care agencies, which are an agreed part of your Support Plan and for which we receive an invoice.
As mentioned above, this service is a great addition to our payroll service as it means we will pay personal assistants, HMRC, pension contributions and payments to other agencies on the same day that the payroll is run.
We will send you regular bank statements to show the available funds and how they are being used and will provide audit information on request to the local authority or NHS Trust.
