Canterbury 50+ Club
We are a fun and friendly group who meet every Tuesday afternoon in Hartford Community Centre, Canterbury Road between 2 - 4pm. We have a quiz and a raffle and play a little bingo, but not seriously. We have tea or coffee and a good natter. Christmas is coming and we are booked to go out for a meal and we will be having a party on the last day of the club before Christmas. In the summer months we have outings to different places which are enjoyed by all. We have just enjoyed a cruise on the Lancaster Canal with fish and chips and a lovely time.
We occasionally have guest speakers in whether it is the Red Cross or benefits talks or whatever the members want.
We do not discriminate and have several members with health problems but we don't let these problems spoil our fun. You will be made very welcome by all and I do hope you will come and see us soon.
