Hospice care for children

Children's hospices provide respite and terminal care for children suffering from life-limiting conditions in a home-from-home environment. Care is provided for the child and their family at no cost to them for as long as is necessary, including post bereavement support.

There are currently two Hospices in the area, this one at Francis House in Didsbury and the other in Liverpool called Zoe's Place. The hospices are run by different charities, they organise fund-raising activities to pay for the care they provide.

To find out more about accessing either hospice, please contact them directly or you can talk to us at Trafford Children's First Response here in Trafford.
