Adult Storytelling Club

The Success Stories club has been described as 'The friendliest club in Manchester'. Poets, musicians and storytellers perform for your entertainment, competing for the audience vote and the trophy for the best performance of the night. Each night of tales is themed (eg 'Manchester Tales', Tales of Drunken Nights' and our annual 'Biggest Liar of the Year' contest). Stories start at 7.30. Moorfield Pub, Marsland Road, Sale M33 3NW. Everyone is welcome to a slot, if they wish to perform. Listeners are always highly valued! Tickets cost £6 on the door. To join us for supper, just order and pay at the bar separately and let them know you are with the club so the meals all get served at the same time. We look forward to hearing from you.

The Success Stories Adult Storytelling Club
‘The Success Stories club  is the nicest, most encouraging, inspirational and culturally-enhancing gathering of genuinely talented artists I  have ever encountered during a life time spent sharing words in public houses, church halls, Masonic halls, town halls and the street corners,’ says award-winning performance poet and raconteur Pennant Roberts.
