Wargrave House LEAP

Founded by Bessie Berman in 1971, Wargrave House School has grown to provide a specialist environment for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder with high standards of accommodation and trained staff expertise.

Wargrave House School is situated on the outskirts of the market town of Newton-le-Willows in Merseyside, just half a mile from the town centre, the school benefits from easy access to community facilities, with a regular bus service. The railway station is within walking distance and, where appropriate, students benefit from independent travel programmes.

Wargrave House embraces each of the areas highlighted in the Governments 'Every Child Matters' agenda (2004) and continually monitors and evaluates its practice and provision in line with Being Healthy, Staying Safe, Enjoy & Achieve, Make a Positive Contribution and Achieve Economic Well Being.
