Early Years Workforce Learning and Development

Trafford Early Years offer an extensive early years learning and development programme which is developed on an annual basis and offered to all early years practitioners across Trafford. We are committed to delivering high quality continuous professional development opportunities to raise quality, standards and practice.

We are proud of our thriving early years sector in Trafford and want to ensure that all our children receive the best possible early years experience.  We believe that supporting continuous improvement is key is achieving this.

The early years membership scheme enables us to offer learning and development opportunities to the sector at highly competitive rates, delivered by the most highly skilled practitioners.

All courses are quality assured to ensure we support outstanding practice.

We are proud to support over 1,200 members every year.

Practitioners working in areas outside Trafford are also eligible but this is subject to an additional charge.

Before booking a place on a course you are required to join the membership scheme.

Membership Scheme

The membership scheme runs annually from 1 August – 31 July.

This year to demonstrate our commitment in supporting the sector we will be offering the membership at £20 per person.

By joining the scheme practitioners can access a variety of face-to-face and e-learning courses as well as accreditation programmes, sector support and specialist networks. There is an additional nominal fee payable to attend face-to-face training.
