Trafford Sunrise

Trafford Sunrise provides support for children aged 5-12 years in coping with stress, learning how to relax and promoting emotional wellbeing. We also provide some support for parents.

For Children (aged 5-12)

Childrens Groups:

Across six weekly sessions, Trafford Sunrise Children's Groups aim to help children develop emotional resilience, learn coping strategies, and increase their self-esteem and social engagement.

Individual Sessions:

Individual therapy sessions are available for children who may require additional support with their emotional health and wellbeing.

For Parents & Carers:

Parents' Groups:

Parents are invited to attend our solution-focused Parents' Group where they can obtain support from other parents, and learn about supporting their children. We focus on identifying children's emotional difficulties and using evidence-based parenting techniques to enhance children's emotional wellbeing and coping strategies.

Parent Drop-in Sessions:

Our drop-in sessions aim to provide parents with a space to talk and share ideas around supporting their children. Parents will also be able to learn more about children's mental health and wellbeing, including: sleep problems, anxiety, bullying and behavioural difficulties. Parents can also access the drop-in sessions to find out more about us and our service.
