About our service

The goal of the Nutrition and Dietetic Service is to help people improve and maintain their well-being and health through good nutrition.

The team provides advice and support to individuals and groups who are required to follow special diets for their medical conditions and promotes healthy eating in general.


People at high risk of being malnourished can be referred to the team for specialist assessment and support.                                                                                                                            

Anyone worried that they have a poor appetite and have been losing weight without meaning to can check out some of our tips in the leaflets included here.  If your weight does not increase after trying these tips for 12 weeks, visit your GP.
