Crafty Cooks

A weekly cookery class for 2's and up where we bake a range of healthy recipes, learning important cooking and baking skills and having a lot of fun.  We have a wide range of sweet and savoury recipes, all of them easily replicable at home!  We promote healthy eating, and the importance of learning to cook; most of our recipes include at least one fruit or vegetable.

All ingredients are pre-weighed, and we go through each recipe step-by-step, all together.

While the goodies are in the oven, we have a little activity, usually linked to one of the ingredients; these range from investigating where a specific food comes from, to tasting different forms of one food (cheese, fresh v dried fruit, different honeys...) all the way to making our own butter, cream or even wheat!

Each class costs £7.50.  The first class is on a pay-as-you-go basis, and afterwards I would ask you to sign up for the term if you would like to keep coming - this way I can organise ingredients etc.  Cost includes all ingredients and equipment, plus alittle activity while the food cooks.  Of course you get to take your food home with you, and you get a recipe card each week.  If you sign up for the term you also get a canvas bag to take your goodies home in
