A weekly cookery class for 2's and up where we bake a range of healthy recipes, learning important cooking and baking skills and having a lot of fun. We have a wide range of sweet and savoury recipes, all of them easily replicable at home! We promote healthy eating, and the importance of learning to cook; most of our recipes include at least one fruit or vegetable.
All ingredients are pre-weighed, and we go through each recipe step-by-step, all together.
While the goodies are in the oven, we have a little activity, usually linked to one of the ingredients; these range from investigating where a specific food comes from, to tasting different forms of one food (cheese, fresh v dried fruit, different honeys...) all the way to making our own butter, cream or even wheat!
