Youth Ranger Volunteer

About this place

Sprawling over 3,000 acres, home to a resident herd of deer and workplace to some of the most skilled rangers working on fascinating conservation management projects, Dunham Massey is a hub of opportunity and excitement, and we need your help!

We are calling out for children and young people to help us look after this special place for everyone to enjoy it. Conservation tasks range from saving habitats to removing invasive plants, from planting trees to path renovations, from food growing to wildlife surveying. No prior experience or knowledge is required, just enthusiasm and a passion for protecting nature.

Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers are committed to ensuring our young volunteers are safe, supported, nurtured, and pushed to reach their full potential in their volunteer roles.

This year we will also be utilising the Green Recovery Fund to enhance green spaces beyond our borders with community members and young people at the heart of what we do.
