Pakistani Resource Centre Trafford BME Mental Health Service
The Pakistani Resource Centre is a registered charity and voluntary organisation established since 1966. We offer our Trafford Black & Minority Ethnicities Mental Health Service and we also provide our Manchester Welfare Rights Service.
Our Mental Health Service is involved with the Trafford Prevention & Wellbeing Partnership. We are offering a Free, Confidential and Non-Judgemental Service for BME Trafford Residents experiencing Mental Health Issues. We provide Mental Health support via Therapeutic Interventions and have been doing so since 1995. Our staff are sensitive to the needs of all Communities and understand the meaning of a “culturally appropriate” Service.
We can help you with any issues impacting on your Mental Health & Well-being by offering: Community Outreach & Home Visits, Informal Counselling, Information and Advice to access local Services, Support to Carers, Advocacy, encourage the uptake of Health Screening Programmes, Practical support to help you access Education, Training and Voluntary Placements, Improve social exclusion and Signposting to appropriate Services.
