FREE Monster Mayhem Halloween fun in Altrincham

This Halloween Altrincham’s Business Improvement District (The BID) has organised a bumper week of fantastic family half-term fun with a FREE Monster Mayhem family town trail, children’s Spooky Silent Discos with ‘Our Kids Social’, and FREE Monster Making Workshops.

The naughty goblin of Goose Green has been up to his usual tricks and has released some menacing monsters from the clock tower.  Join the FREE family town trail and help Altrina, the good witch of Altrincham to find all of the monsters.  The trail takes place from Tuesday 22 – Friday 25 October (10:00-16:00).  Pick up a trail sheet from Waterstones, George Street (WA14 1RJ) and help Altrina find the ghastly ghouls before they wreak havoc in the town.  There will be a treat for all the children who complete the trail and a special prize draw!

There will be Spooky Silent Discos on Friday 25 October at Treehouse, George Street (WA14 1RF). With two sessions taking place throughout the day, tickets are just £3 per person and include the disco and themed games with prizes, plus Addams family photo frame and FREE face painting for perfect Halloween pics! Fancy dress is optional. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.

There will also be FREE Monster Making Workshops at Open Studios on Stamford New Road (WA14 1EJ).  Come along and help to decorate one of Altrincham’s five big monsters and see them displayed in shops around the town for Halloween!  Monsters from the workshops will be lurking in Open Studios, Gran T’s Coffee House, Warrens Bakery plus Black and White (from Monday 28 October to Sunday 3 November).  Families are also encouraged to enter the ‘Monster Face’ photo competition on the Altrincham Unlimited Facebook page.
