Away Day Care - Day Support Service (Adult and Young People Short Breaks)
Away Day Care is a unique, award winning community based day support service, our mission is to provide the most person-centred, integrated, self actualising, community based day support service absolutely anywhere. Each person that attends our service is regarded as a member of our extended family.
We have no set programme of activities to offer as each person that comes to Away Days gets to choose their own personal programme which can change as often as you like. We are the only service in Trafford to offer a 10am-10pm service daily and we strive to get people out in to the community as often as possible rather than being centre based.
We also provide the Gateway Award which is a Mencap scheme encouraging motivation, positivity and social and emotional wellbeing. Please feel free to come and visit our centre and see what you think yourself, call Jean O'hara on 07837427545 for any questions or to arrange a visit.
