Update October 2018: Childcare vouchers now closed to new entrants. This article is for Trafford Council employees already actively participating before October 2018.
Childcare vouchers are a Government scheme aimed at helping working parents afford quality childcare. Each parent who takes part in the scheme could save up to £900 a year on the cost of childcare.
KiddiVouchers is an independent company which Trafford Council has appointed to run its childcare voucher scheme. If you have any questions about KiddiVouchers please contact them on the details below, or see the attached Information For Employees - Your Childcare Voucher Scheme Rules.
To take part the child for whom you intend to use the vouchers for must be:
- Your child or stepchild, who is maintained either fully or partly at your expense, or
- A child who lives with you and for whom you have parental responsibility.
You can spend childcare vouchers up to September 1 after the child's 15th birthday, or after the 16th birthday for a disabled child.
The KiddiVouchers Scheme Reference Number for Trafford Council employees is S319983B.
If you are not employed by Trafford Council, or if you did not join the scheme before October 2018, please see Help with Childcare Costs - Working Parents for more information on what help may be available to you.
