Abl Support (Adult Short Breaks)

Well, first and foremost, we are a day centre focussing on people with learning disabilities, but in reality we're much more than that.

We're called Abl (A Better Life) because that is our prime aim. Our team's commitment to add value to people’s lives and experiences has taught us that people with additional needs are no different from anybody else. They are still unique individuals with a huge amount to offer and all they need is the opportunity to learn new skills and build their confidence.

In our view it's all about providing a totally informal environment where there is always recognition of achievement and where people never feel isolated and are always encouraged to develop new friends.

Remember, we are supported by Trafford Mencap, bringing us even closer to the community and helping us to recognise that it's not only our customers who need our help, but often their families or carers, who sometimes desperately need a break.

As a day centre, we serve a wide geographical area, including Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire and offer a pick up and drop off service as part of our daily rate.
